Overview
Head North from Johannesburg, and a mere 3 hour drive will bring you to Nungubane Game Lodge which lies in Welgevonden Private Game Reserve, at the heart of the spectacular Waterberg. The Waterberg, high in the Limpopo Province, is one of South Africa's last unspoilt wildernesses.
Free from malaria, with a temperate climate, Welgevonden is a leading South African private game reserve. Its 37 500 hectares are home to the Big Five, including some 50 White Rhino, 16 species of antelope, a rich variety of other animals and some 250 species of birds.
Nungubane welcomes a maximum of ten guests in an atmosphere of intimate luxury. Guests are accommodated in spacious chalets, which command majestic views over the reserve from their individual decks.

During the heat of the day, relax by the pool, or in the cool comfort of the spacious main lodge. In the evening, dine on the lodge deck or by firelight in the boma, under the stars.
