Overview

Camp Hwange is a Classic Safari Camp on a private concession deep in Sinamatella  area which is in the north of Hwange National Park.  This is Zimbabwe’s largest park and is truly one of its best. Our camp is a 3 hour drive from Victoria Falls. One hour being on a very good tarred road and the final two hours, through the National Park.

The Camp can accommodate 16 guests’ The accommodation is in large thatched Chalets with canvas and gauze sides which all over look a large waterhole, en-suite flush toilets and geysers and lighting in the rooms is run on solar power to lower our environmental foot print. In each room there is a charging point for recharging digital cameras, laptops etc.

CATERING

Our wholesome cuisine includes a good selection of meats, vegetables and fruits. We can cater for vegetarians or anyone with food allergies.

ACTIVITIES

Our activities are centred on game drives and walks or a combination of the two. We are able to conduct these activities on our private concession and also in the park as a whole. Walks are especially exciting and our guides pride themselves on their knowledge of the big and small things that make up the environment. We also offer night drives on our concession and this can be a good time to see some of the more nocturnal species. There are a number of water holes in the area that attached a lot of animals and birdlife, to drink.
